Every third weekend in January the annual Ice festival takes place in Ouray. ” Since 1994, the Ouray Ice Park has created and operated the largest man-made public ice climbing park in the world, right next to the small town of Ouray, Colorado. Each winter, thousands of ice climbers visit from around the globe, to climb over 150 ice and mixed routes spanning almost two miles of the Uncompahgre Gorge.
